William T. Smale, PhD (University of Alberta), HBPE, BSc, BEd, MEd, is an Associate Professor in the School of Education and Professional Learning at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He teaches undergraduate courses in educational law, ethics and professional conduct, and graduate courses in research methods and school law.
